CBD is relatively new in the public consciousness, so we’ve developed a CBD blog with resources that help you discern the myths and misinformation floating around. CBD is a powerful compound with wellness capabilities that transform lives, and CBD education helps you get the most out of it.

Here, we have answers to many of your common questions, like whether or not CBD will get you “high” (it won’t), what a cannabinoid really is, and how to use CBD as a supplement for different wellness purposes. See what CBD is all about at the SOAR™ CBD blog!

CBD 101

Suddenly, CBD is everywhere. From gummies to lip balm, from water to coffee, CBD is taking over the wellness industry and is making an impact on the health and wellbeing of people all around the world. Everyone and their mother (and your chiropractor, esthetician, doctor, and even therapist) is touting the benefits of CBD. But what exactly is it?

What is CBG?

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve heard of, and already know plenty about, THC and CBD...but what about cannabigerol (CBG)? Daenerys Targaryen may be the Mother of Dragons, but CBG is the Mother of Cannabinoids. Consider CBG the true O.G. of hemp and cannabis, because she came first. Don’t get it twisted. (More on that in a few paragraphs…)

Along Comes CBG

CBG is considered a minor cannabinoid as it is present in less than 1% of most cannabis strains. From what I have read, production is seemingly difficult or relatively less attractive in that producers need to actively decide to grow plant varietals with lower THC levels (going against market trends for more THC) and/or harvest plants earlier in the flowering cycle (again going against most other trends).

It can be easy to confuse CBD and THC, we get it. Both are derived from cannabis, and CBD and THC are commonly the most abundant active compounds found in the plant. In this article we’ll dive into the differences between CBD and THC. Then you can make informed decisions when integrating products into your wellness routine that best suit your lifestyle and needs.

How Much CBD Should I Take?

As with most medications and supplements, it is generally recommended you find the lowest effective dosage to alleviate your ailment. The same goes for CBD. It’s best to start with lower dosages and work your way up as needed.

CBD for the Active Body and Mind

Aside from playing a major role in maintaining homeostasis, the ECS regulates an array of physiological processes including — but not limited to — pain regulation, inflammation, sleep, immune response, mood, energy regulation, and memory.

Get the Most Out of CBD: Education Helps!

By understanding exactly how CBD and other cannabinoids react with your body’s natural endocannabinoid system, you’ll be able to better hone in on how CBD will best treat you.

CBD works in different ways for different people, so CBD education is important for everyone. For example, if you struggle with insomnia, you need to do your research to determine the correct dosage and application of CBD to start with to help soothe your body and mind for a restful night’s sleep.

At our CBD blog, we strive to present only 100% factual information. We stray away from pseudoscience and only present proven, factual CBD educational resources. Cannabinoids have changed our lives (and the lives of our customers!) and we want to help spread the word about this incredible compound and what it can do for you.

Why Choose SOAR™?

Because CBD is largely unregulated, you need to ensure you’re purchasing a product with maximum potency and efficacy. We prove our quality through third-party lab testing, so you can be confident knowing exactly what you’re putting in your body.
