Isaac is a receiver for Wind Chill. His favorite ultimate-related accomplishment is his Top 10 Highlight Play on the Wind Chill a few seasons back; he hopes to re-enter the top ten this coming season. He's working towards trying out for the US National Team, and he puts in work every day whether it's mentally or physically.
Isaac recently graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato where he completed a degree in marketing and entrepreneurship. When this athlete isn't playing and training, you can find him spending as much time as possible with his friends and family. He's got a thing for a good cup of coffee and he likes pineapple on his pizza, but only on his cheat days.
How do you move your body?
As far as body movement and self-care, it is very important to me that I get ahead of the aging process as I am fortunate to still be young! I roll out before every workout, am currently doing a 30-day yoga challenge, I use a Tens unit if I feel tight, and ice if I get hurt. Before the world was shut down, I loved sitting in a steam room before and after a workout.
What are your values?
I value honesty, humor, and trust.
What is a quote you live by?
Hard work beats talent, unless talent works hard. It reminds me that if I step off the pedal we won’t get to where we want to be as a pro ultimate frisbee team and I won’t be my best self.
